On October 14, 2026, LLC IQUSION IT, as part of the IQusion Days cycle, organized a training seminar for its clients on the topic "Zero Trust Cybersecurity in LLC IQUSION IT Products." Participants discussed modern approaches to protecting corporate information systems, managing data access, and implementing Zero Trust principles into the architecture of software solutions.

During the seminar, company expert Serhii Balashuk highlighted the importance of the Zero Trust concept ("zero trust") against the backdrop of increasing cyber threats and the complexity of corporate IT infrastructure. Special attention was paid to the architectural features of developing information systems that comply with the principles of this concept, as well as approaches to ensuring the security of corporate data.

Zero Trust: Connection Point No Longer Defines Trust

Traditional information security models largely relied on protecting the corporate perimeter. It was assumed that users and devices within the protected network could have a higher level of trust than external connections.

The Zero Trust concept fundamentally changes this approach. Its basic principle is "never automatically trust, always verify." No user, device, or software component should gain access to information resources solely based on its location within the corporate network.

The implementation of Zero Trust involves the application of a series of interconnected mechanisms:

  • Verification of identity and access rights. Every request to protected resources requires appropriate authorization.
  • Principle of least privilege. Users and software components receive only the rights necessary to perform their tasks.
  • Access segmentation. Limiting interaction between individual system components reduces the risk of attack propagation.
  • Monitoring and auditing. Recording and analyzing security events help detect suspicious activity in a timely manner.
  • Security at the architectural level. Protection mechanisms are incorporated at the design stage of the information system, rather than being added after development is complete.

Security in the Architecture of Corporate Solutions

The seminar specifically addressed the architectural design features of software products in accordance with Zero Trust principles.

For modern business process management systems, this issue is of fundamental importance. Such solutions combine users with different permissions, corporate documents, databases, external services, and automated processes. Consequently, protection must cover not only the login procedure but also subsequent operations with information.

An architecture built with Zero Trust in mind allows for more flexible differentiation of user rights, control over access to individual functions and data, and mitigation of the consequences of potential account compromises.

Importantly, Zero Trust is not a separate software product or a universal security tool. It refers to a comprehensive approach to building information security that combines technological, architectural, and organizational solutions.

Practical Benefits for Business

The implementation of Zero Trust principles is becoming highly relevant for enterprises that use distributed information systems, remote access, integrations with external services, and business process automation.

Applying this concept helps organizations reduce the risks of unauthorized access, increase the controllability of operations with corporate information, and neutralize the potential consequences of cyber incidents.

The training seminar was part of LLC IQUSION IT's activities aimed at familiarizing clients with modern approaches to the development, implementation, and secure operation of corporate information systems.

LLC IQUSION IT will continue to focus on cybersecurity issues and the development of software solutions, taking into account modern information protection requirements.
